This build focuses on ele damage, phys damage is irrelevant. End game would use voltaxic, but something like lioneye's or a ele thicket bow can be used.

I use added lightning damage instead of weapon elemental damage with lightning arrow/chain because of the +10% possible chance to shock, and duration and the damage isn't too terribly different with the reduced damage multipliers.

Because this build utilizes mana, there have to be items that focus on regeneration. In the skill tree, passive nodes make up for 120% regeneration and 56% inc mana, so it is advisable to use something like Atziri's Foible.

Life nodes make up 218% inc life at the moment, with 20 nodes remaining for more life regeneration. There is also a base 2% life per second with passive nodes.

Gem choices can change; I use reduced mana in some instances instead of blood magic to take advantage of this. It is possible, since this hasn't been tested, that passive reduced mana nodes may have to be used. I also selected MoM as a keystone, but whether or not its viable remains to be seen.

As a final edit, I changed the last link to include a aura run on life instead of magic: clarity, since its based on a flat life reserved, not a % reserved. With the passive skill gems, 31% reduced mana is reserved, and with Alpha's, it can be 39% reduced reserved, not counting the reduced magic node. With a lvl 20 blood magic, reduced magic and alpha's howl, it will reserve 0.71*0.69*1.96* 440 = 422 life reserved. its high, but not unreasonably high with decent levels of life.
